Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis has revealed there are still around 7,000 tickets left and less than two weeks away from this year's event.
Although the number seems a little bit overwhelming, the English dairy farmer is confident that the tickets would be sold in ten days time.
He tells BBC, "I think we've got about 7,000 tickets left, that's all. With only 2 weeks left to go its forecast glorious sunshine and they are selling out all the time. So they should take about ten days to sell out."
For this year, they had allowed U.K. music retailer HMV to sell tickets over the counter, a decision that they would or would not repeat next year.
Eavis replied when asked if they would be selling tickets over HMV counters next year, "Not necessarily. It depends really on the demand next year really."
"The whole thing of photos on tickets - we had a look at that again this year. Previously, we had experienced a lot of touting and it annoyed me to think that people were paying 120 quid for a ticket and selling them on for ?400 (approximately $800)."
Glastonbury Festival will be held on June 27, 28 and 29. Superstar rapper Jay-Z will be one of the headliners this year.
