The remaining amount needs to be paid by midnight on Feb. 1st.
Sadly I'm not going to be able to do this, as the recession has seen me take a 400 quid a month pay cut in order to keep my job. It's apparently til the end on March then normal service will be resumed, but I can't afford to go to Glasto this year on my current wage.

I took the less sensible option in similar circumstances. Similar temporary pay cut is probably only until March. We'll see. Irony is that deposit+balance+earlier time frame has actually made it harder personally.
Pondering: How many of the tickets Michael Eavis has said are 'sold' will be returned deposits? Seems a long time ago (in that a lot has happened) since I put my deposit down. It really was touch and go for me, I suspect a lot of others are in a similar position. |

I doubt they've sold all the 137,000 tickets, especially at a time when people are losing jobs & money is becoming increasingly tight. I'd guess that those figures are based upon deposits being sold before cancellations. In short: it's typical Eavis spin that we see (''best festival ever!!'') each year. |

If my wage goes back up then I'll grab a ticket in April, but right now I don't know what's going on.

Bollocks indeed.
I trusted Gregg to pay the balance for both of us. A fair deal I feel, seeing as I got the deposit!
