Glastonbury Festival is pleased to announce that Neil Young will be
the third headliner at this year's sold out event, joining
previously-announced headliners Blur and Bruce Springsteen. Says
Festival founder Michael Eavis: "Every year the people that come to the
Festival ask the same question: when is Neil Young playing? So this is
big news for us. I've seen him play many times over the years but I
think he's better than ever at the moment, it's one hell of a show. "And
the wonderful thing about Neil Young is that every generation loves his
music, you can hear him in some of the younger bands like Fleet Foxes,
who will also be playing at the Festival this year, so it's a big one
for all of us. With Neil on the bill we are close to completing our
best ever line-up."
