Glastonbury Festival supremo Michael Eavis says next year’s headliners are “already sorted”.
The 76-year-old revealed the news as he picked up a lifetime achievement award at the European festival awards in Groningen, Holland.
He added that he wants the festival to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020. Eavis said he was “determined” to see the event reach the milestone after Glastonbury celebrated its 40th birthday in 2010. He said: “I’m really determined somehow or other to make the 50 years – I don’t see why I shouldn’t make it. Strangely enough, I do feel incredibly fit.”
