Hi there,

I wonder if someone can help me?

I have the misfortune of going on a ten-day work trip to the US immediately after Glastonbury. My flight is at 12.55 from Heathrow on Monday June 30th, and I was advised to get there at about 10 am.

Has anyone any idea how I could get from Glastonbury to Heathrow for 10am on the Monday?!

Any suggestion would be great!

you should book a taxi from pilton to wherevers best for you to get connecting transport to the airport..

heres some taxi numbers:

Castle Cary Taxi's: 01963 351333; No.7 Taxi's: 01963 351015; Shepton Mallet Taxi's: 01749 343888 or 01749 347222; Wright Cars: 01749 345151

they will meet you about 15mins walk from the festival main gate but you can arrange all this with them if you call and book.

i know it costs around 30 quid to bristol airport as i booked a one from last years festival and they were very helpful.

you could maybe get them to take you to a train station nearer london and then train the rest im not sure what will be best for you.

it is possible providing you sort it out and book early as possible, also you will have to put a deposit on the taxi incase you dont show up.

(which is what happened to me last year after over-indulging on the sunday night)
