You turn up & see what space is there. The most popular areas like Big Ground & Pennards fill up by the evening of Wednesday, but there's plenty of room, however there was a lack of infrastructure in some of the new camping areas last year.

can pretty much guarantee that Pennards will be full then but there should be room high up by the pyramid and around the dance fields.
it doens't sound overly huge considering I've just bought this (click it - i've remembered how hyperlinks work ) for just me

hmm - i have a deteriorating spine which is a constant pain (in many respects) but i also have a system. the only things in my rucksack on 1st trip from car are a bottle of cider and the tent. once those are dealt with i go back 4 clothes/1st day food etc. the rest of the weekend i buy food & drink on site which i know is an expensive way 2 do it but its better overall cos i don't have 2 much additional pain.
still looking 4 help with my tent erection tho (do u see what i did there? i made it sound a bit sexual so that boys will b more likely 2 offer assistance )

Hi, if you are newcomers: here is one good advice: Put your tent as far up on a hill as possible in case of rain. And away from the main tracks. It gets VERY muddy (in rain) at the bottom and near the tracks, and its nice not to step dirctly from the mud into the tent. Anyway, it WILL BE SUNNY THIS YEAR!!!!!!
