As a veteran of the Glasto site I am pretty much in tune as to where all the decent places to camp are and where you can sit talking utter gibberish round a camp fire till the cows come home. However, ten years after my first visit I find myself in a very alien position.........which is the best Family Camping Field???????   My little lad will be 18 months old and has very high energy levels so space would be good not mention that we also have a large tent, but I suppose with the possibility of it chucking it down there are a number of larger tents in these fileds???

Some guidance, help and good sound advice is required here.

That's if we get tickets that is

From what others have said the family field near Big Ground seems to be the best.

how many family camping areas are there?? the one back and left from the pyramid is great.
One year i watched a few folk trying to scale the fence but its so close to pyramid if thats your shizzle and is prob one of the quietest places on the site after stages shut down :)

most importantly its safe! everyone going in and out gets properly questioned if they look dodgy, by friday they are careful how many people they let in! for years i had friends who took up a considerable space with 20 of them in that field and everyone around was ALWAYS nice and friendly...

plus managed to always get delievered free papers and goodies there...  somehow i miss the free paper delievery last year... ??
