Hi - Ive been to Glasto twice b4 and have loved every minute of it...
Unfortantly the 14 hole doc Martins I usually wear have seen better
days and lst year at 'V' gave me such bad blisters I had to resort to
my converse.
SO! I need to purchase a new pair of boots and have a few questions
on alternative footwear to a new pair of DM's (they are v. expensice -
not sure I want to spend another £70)
Wellies... these always look like a nightmare to me... heels getting
stuck in the mud so the boot comes off... water running down the top
of the boot... socks dropping to your ankles... can some one proove
me wrong - as they are cheap to buy!
Walking boots... really expensive, but they must be comfortable -
right? (I am diabetic - I have to get this footwear right!) I was
worried about the mud going over the top and having to buy gaters...
Work boots... any good?
Many thanks people.

Wellies worked really well in 2005, once I had a pair that is.
It has to be really bad for anything to run down from the top.
But they are definitely a wet weather option, I wear something less practical until the heavens open!
And walking boots can be the comfiest option, but you need to work them in beforehand, bit of a risk waiting until the festival to wear them for hours on end.
