Depends what car park you end up in & what you mean by 'popular'. Pennards & Big Ground fill fairly quickly but expect a hike regardless as the site is much, much bigger than you think it is.

if your pear cider is in glass bottles you'll only need to carry it to the nearest pedestrian gate where it will be confiscated and you'll cry........

I'll be buying my pear cider from the Brothers' Bar in 3 litre bottles.... Mmmmmm.

Then I'll be finding a warm, cosy ditch to curl up in.

CANS!

also... prob leave some in the car and fetch thur/fri if i were you!

the walk is like a piece of string... how does the distance matter if everyones walking real slow or you get pulled over to get searched?

also theres always the chance of going to the wrong entrace etc! haha

go with the flow, but i always say about 2-3 hours from when i reach the area, the car ques and then setting up tent.

Depends where you park and where you camp, but expect a solid 20 - 30 min walk across slightly hilly fields and stoney walkways. Beer soon gets very heavy, as does practically anything carried by hand (like duvets, etc).

Easiest way to carry stuff is rucksack for tents etc and a small draggable truck for beers. Remember no glass - the cows don't like it (can't get the tops off!)
