Why is Glastonbury Festival so mean with people who can't make it?
Last year my daughter had an emergency appendix operation and we were told to send the ticket in and they would decide after the festival. We did. We were told (even with a hospital confirmation) it wasn't a good enough reason.
Yet they are the only festival where you can't resell tickets - why not set up a facility to resell to registered people at list price?
This year one of my daughter's friends can't go because of exams (which she didn't know the dates of in April). Again, we have been told to send the tickets in. This is just dishonest on the part of the festival, as they know there is no way they will accept this reason.
Is it any surprise numbers are dropping if your fans are treated like this?
