It doesn't look as big as your poor orphaned tent you cut all ties with....

This is my tent:

Minus woman & child of course!

My tent feels somewhat small & useless compared to these leviathans.

got it down & packed away in 40mins in high winds ..... although it did bounce off over the garden in the general direction of Poo Corner - which was scary!

hi, just been reading this tread, im really tempted to go on my own, my hubby cant make it & none of my mates are into their music. Bit worried about going on my own as ive never been to glasto before. Dont spose their is anyone who wants to take me under their wing??? Its also seems abit silly to travel on my own so really would be good to travel up with someone, I live on the borders on Bucks, Beds & Herts? Havent brought a ticket yet!!

hi there newby nessyt - hope your 1st post wasn't 2 traumatic.

we're all v friendly here and you're welcome 2 camp with us in Park Home Ground (next 2 Pennards - across the railway from 'Other').  can't offer a lift though cos driving in from Brizzle wed am with Glenn (Kingmob) and he takes up most of the back seats and all of the front!

next step is 2 get a ticket then a tent then some yummy booze!

Hello from the amorphous mass that will be taking up seating in Janet's car. We don't bite, much, so feel free to join us at our jolly little campsite. Last year we were lucky to have great neighbours (hello to the mad Aussies if they're reading this) & it was all a bit smashing.

So, PM Janet, Causey or myself if you want to join in & we'll work out a way for people to find us.

the thought of going to a festival this big on my own frightens me a bit but i reckon it would be a great way of meeting loads of new people and you would definitely make the most out of it!
