The last few yrs we've had a mini forum camp behind the refreshemnt tent in park home ground (next 2, and not as steep as, pennards)
it's been safe, 1 minor tent rummage, fun and relatively easily accessible for other, tiny-t, greenfields etc as it's right by the railway.
i'll certainly b there on wed am and would appreciate any strong boys (not being sexist, just leery) 2 help me pitch etc...... has any1 noticed this appears 2 b a recurring theme?

Welcome to the forum glitterybee!
Yep, your not the only Glastonbury Virgin going it alone... I thought i'd be the only one going alone - how wrong I was
When you planning on pitching up hun? You can always pitch up next to me - Keep an eye out for one another, have late night chats and drinks etc.

It's so good to know there are others in the same boat - I'm now totally relaxed about going. Think I'm going Thursday - what about others??

I'm hoping to get there for mid morning on wednesday - it'll take me most of the day just to pitch up my tent
I'm excited too... I waste my days at work browsing the web for tents, waterproofs, sleeping bags etc...
I think it's a great thing- I doubt my boss agrees though.

halfords family tent pack @ £99 - bargain (and the extra sleeping bags can go 2 shelter or your local big issue seller)

Thanks for that Betsy - Seems more my price range...
I'm doing the whole day dreaming thing - Dreaming I have the money to spend a fortune on camping gear
Then again if I had the money, I'd probably just get a Tipi!

Yeah i'm spending a lot of time looking for stuff too, thought it was just me! I was thinking of one of those quick pitch tents cos it'd take me hours to put up a tent! I'm rubbish
Who could actually afford a tipi?! Not me thats for sure
