Here's an idea to improve security whilst camping - dead simple. Don't laugh!!! - This really works; Carefully cut and roll back some turf inside your tent, dig a small hole and place your "Recreational Pharmaceuticals", "Exotic Herbs" and other valuables, inside a seal-able plastic bag, underneath the turf and your average local tent thief will have a real problem pinpointing the goodies. You won't, so long as you use your loaf.

Sounds a bit daft until you actually try it; you can't go wrong, because only you will know precisely where, in the tent, the secret stash is. It takes about two minutes - we do it when we're camping and it really is no trouble. If you forget exactly where you stashed, it'll not take all night to find it, by tugging at the old turf, but Mr. Tent-Thief won't know where to begin and will look elsewhere.

not a bad idea, or you go for the "Alan" aproach fill your sleeping bag full of clothes and put a hat or something on the top so someone thinks you are in there, somewhere there are pictures of the fabled "Alan"
