Hiya, Polly.

I hear what you are saying. Lock ups are an option, so long as they are open at 4 in the morning. We'd thought about that, but weren't sure. Good suggestion, though.

I know exactly what you mean about the Steward situation - I agree, but this particular little t**ser and his mates arrived in the wrong condition, (stoned out of their heads and pissed, whilst on duty), at the wrong place at the wrong time. If I hadn't had my hands full with the tent i'd have wrapped them around his scrawny neck. I realise that the stewards have to deal with all the twats that we can just walk away from and that must be a pain. I've worked as a musician for many years, aswell as road crew, amongst other things and i know what the public is like, but that doesn't mean people like that should be doing the job.

Not wishing to sound even remotely patronising; you have my sincere respect. It's fairly sh*t getting around in the mud and crowds at the best of times, I admire anyone who can get through it with a disability. If I've said the wrong thing, I'm sorry, but i mean it. Good on yer!

We're going to make the best of it this year as it WILL be our last time. Just not prepared to put up with all the bullsh*t and pay neck end of a grand, for four people, to do it. It's going bollocks and i don't want to be there when it sinks.

That's some good news, then. Sorry for ranting. You know how it is when you look forward to something and it all starts going a bit "turd".

Cheers for the advice, guys.

I have some friends who get a coach whenever they go to T in the Park, and with that it's a case of packing up Sunday morning and putting the stuff in a large lock-up. Then collecting after the last band (read piper) has finished, and crashing on the coach home.
It works for them, and I certainly have met plenty of people who have had to do it over the years at Glasto. Though the sheer numbers could be interesting this year!?
