I'm really worried, I booked coach tickets and haven't had any confirmation and the money is still in my account.  It's the only time I've ever been gutted to see money in my account.

My friend got the combined tickets too but he's had confirmation.  What's that all about?

the coach travel tickets are not a ruse, the licence was extended on the basis that some people would HAVE to get a coach to cut down on the traffic etc, I have never done the coach but I would imagine they would be a chuckle especially if travelling alone, you would make freinds with people who you could then camp with

I've never done Glastonbury by coach, always car shared with strangers or had a friend living nearby who I visited beforehand.

But I have done a coach once to T in the Park, it was a right good laugh. Although it was meant to just be a regular service to edinburgh, every single person on the bus was going to TitP, so instead of being dropped in Kinross (a few miles away) we got dropped at the festival bus station, it was ace.

Don't worry about these fine details, they'll all be sorted soon enough. Though it is natural to worry.

Been to Glastonbury a few times, in a car, on the  back of a motorbike  and have definintely decided that the bus is the best way for me.

It's just so chilled out and you can enjoy the view. You also get into the site a hell of a lot faster. Everyone is excited and there's a really good atmosphere. It's nice to let the guard down a bit more than usual and get to know all the people that are there for the same reason. You see them around the site and it's nice to see semi-familiar faces. The trip back is a bit "interesting" as everyone is knackered / smelly and a little more subdued, but it's still okay. You'd get that in a car and one of you would have to drive, too.

Anyone concerned about getting on the bus needn't worry. If you've driven down before, especially from further afield, you'll not look back. We managed to have a drink and smoke on the way with two complete strangers and it was really nice. that just about sums Glastonbury up to me; you can actually engage with complete strangers without inhibition, safe in the knowledge that people are more likely to experience you rather than judge you.
