Hello.
We've managed to get our combi tickets, but saw nothing at the point of purchase about departure times. We chose our nearest pick up point, but it never said what time we would be leaving, or returning.
Leaving time is not such a biggie, really; just glad to be going, but it says on the official Glastonbury site that the coaches will be departing between 1a.m. and 10 a.m. on the Monday morning. EH?!!! I rang the ticket people and they said this was not going to happen and that the coaches would be leaving later than that.
Not wishing to cause any undue concern, but surely having to leave the site at 1 a.m. on the Monday morning will be a nightmare? You'd have to be packing up earlier in the day, (we go camping a lot and aren't planning to pack up a campsite at night), which would mean walking around with everything on your back, tent and all.
I'm a bit worried about this and would welcome any info or advice. We're due to leave from Middlesborough, by the way.
Thanks.

I'd wait to get your confirmation. The majority of coaches tend to go (from my experience of the last 3 festivals)when I'm normally heading back to Brizzle on Monday at 8am-ish.
But really, don't panic. Just wait for now.

Hi there,
Dont panic first of all!
i also got a combined coach ticket leaving from Exeter. if you head over to the national express website and look here :
http://www.nationalexpress.com/destinations/events/festivals/glastonbury.cfm
Choose your leaving place and it will display your times for departure and the time your coach leaves the site.
it appears from exeter there is only one time to leave and return. Wherever you are leaving from might have multiple times.
I still havnt recieved my confirmation code yet so im a little worried!
Hope that helps!

Hi Colters and King Mob,
Thanks for the advice; I'll have a look shortly.
Colters - don't worry about the code; i posted some news on the other thread, about this, just now. I got through to the ticket people and was advised that, as long as the transaction completed when booking, you will receive you tickets. hope this helps.
help - I'm stuck in an italic and can't get out!!! Ooh Eck!

I tried;
http://www.nationalexpress.com/destinations/events/festivals/glastonbury.cfm
but Middlesborough wasn't listed! Definitely said Middlesborough at time of booking.
Help?

where else could the coach come from to go via middleborough?
the coaches are making stops on trips so try looking at a route that might go via middlesborough.

Great point, Colters. Cheers.
I suppose it could be coming from Sunderland or Newcastle, so I'll have a look.
Thanks.

Excellent - you are a gem.
I see there's a 9 hour journey with no stop-off. Think we'll be having that one. Went on the coach in 2005 and it was brilliant. No hassles and we got straight in.
Thanks a million.
