Inviting over 150,000 people onto your land for five days of fun and frivolity is always going to leave its mark.

Clearing up after Glastonbury Festival normally takes hundreds of litter pickers about a month to remove the site of all of the debris left behind.

But this year Worthy Farm's fields have been cleared quicker than usual and the cows have left their 'Mootel'.

The festival says this is because people listened to their message of 'leave no trace'.

On the screens to the side of the Pyramid Stage, videos were played asking people to take all of their belongings home.

The videos, which featured a limerick voiced by children, warned people of the impact rubbish can have on the ecology of the farm.

The dry weather at this year's event is also believed to have played a part, as people were not in such a rush to pack up unlike in 2007 when a mass deluge of rain saw thousands of tents left behind.
